BAYHYDROL A 2227/1 is a polyester-polyacrylate dispersion characterized for use in high-performance coatings. It provides excellent whiteness retention and film formation at elevated temperatures suitable for demanding industrial applications. BAYHYDROL A 2227/1 exhibits high shear stability and good pigment wetting properties for optimized formulations. When combined with melamine resins, it enables solvent-reduced coatings that cure quickly at 120°C. BAYHYDROL A 2227/1 dispersions develop a tough, flexible coating with resistance to weathering. Its low minimum film formation temperature below 0°C allows application in various climates.
