WACKER® E 1657 is an o/w emulsion of an aminoalkyl-functional polydimethylsiloxane with a slightly cationic emulsifier system that enhances adhesion to various substrates. It is used in car polishes, including paint polishes, paint conditioners, and vinyl conditioners, improving gloss and detergent resistance. WACKER® E 1657 is particularly effective in formulating vinyl conditioners, where its amino groups ensure strong adhesion, maintaining high gloss and depth of image for an extended period.
